St. Michael's receives a Copy of the Pochaev Icon of the Mother of God
On Sunday August 12th, St Michael's Church in Jermyn, PA was presented with a gift of a copy of the Pochaev Icon of the Mother of God. The icon was given to the parish by Protodeacon and Matushka Gabriel Petorak, on the occasion of their Golden Anniversary. The Icon was Blessed during the Divine Liturgy, concelebrated by Archpriests John Kowalczyk, Rector; Daniel Geeza and Michael Dahulich. Following the Service, the parish presented Fr Michael with the final installment of their Adopt a Seminarian Scholarship.
