Sunday of the Cross: Frackville Deanery Mission Vespers - 03/07/10
On Sunday, March 7th, Christ the Saviour Orthodox Church (Harrisburg,
PA) hosted the clergy and faithful of the Frackville Deanery for the
Mission Vespers service. The service was concelebrated by the dean,
Archpriest Michael Hatrak (SS. Peter and Paul in Minersville) as well
as clergy from throughout the deanery. Also present was Archpriest
Srboljub Jokovich from St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church in nearby
Oberlin. Archpriest John Onufrey (St. Herman in Shillington) offered
the homily. Following the service the faithful gathered in the parish
hall for a delicious Lenten meal prepared by the St. Mary's Altar Guild.
