Alter Boys Retreat, Wilkes Barre Deanery - 08/19/10
Nearly two dozen altar boys attended the Wilkes-Barre Deanery altar boy picnic on August 19 in Olyphant. The day included a brief service led by Fr Dan Kovalak, an explanation of the iconography of the recently-restored All Saints Church by Fr David Cowan, and swimming, trampoline-jumping, food and fun at the residence of an All Saints parishioner. It's the Deanery's way of saying "thanks" to those who serve in our respective altars!
