New Diocesan Clergy welcomed at Dinner • South Canaan
His Grace, Bishop MARK welcomes new clergy to the Diocese

His Grace, Bishop MARK hosted a dinner on January 28, 2014, to welcome the newest clergy  members into our Diocese and to provide them with an opportunity to introduce themselves.

Seated around his Grace are:

Father Benjamin Johnson, St. Basil's Church, Simpson
Father Paul Schellbach, Jr., All Saints Church, Olyphant
Father Dennis Hendershot, retired, servicing St. Vladimir's Church, Lopez
Father John Nightingale,, who will remain attached to St Nicholas Church in Olyphant and function as a supply priest
Father Mircea Airinei, Holy Trinity Church, McAdoo
Father George Volkovinsky, St. John the Baptist Church,  Edwardsville
Father Nicholas Solak, Dean of the Wilkes-Barre Deanery
Father James Weremedic, Dean of the Philadelphia Deanery
Father John Kowalczyk (seated), Chancellor of the Diocese of Eastern Pennsylvania

Absent due to illness were Fathers Peter Henry from St. Michael's Church, Old Forge, Father Ian Shipley, St. Nicholas Church, Bethlehem, and Father Michael Hatrak, Dean of the Frackville Deanery.

We welcome them into our Diocese and pray that God may bless and guide them as they minister to their respective parishes and communities.
