Holy Apostles Welcomes Special Guests and Orthodox Faithful from around South Central PA - 04/02/2017
On Sunday, April 2, the 5th Sunday of Great Lent, Holy Apostles Church in Mechanicsburg hosted the joint Frackville Deanery/OCCSCP (Orthodox Council of Churches of South Central PA) Lenten Vespers. We had over 150 faithful in attendance with 12 priests, and His Grace, Bishop David of Alaska in attendance. We thank Fr. Dan Kovalak of Holy Cross, Williamsport, for his inspiring sermon. Fr. Dan was the organizer of Holy Apostles when it first came into being. It was nice to have him back!
