Holy Annunciation holds Ethnic Food Festival - 09/12/15
On Saturday, September 12th, Holy Annunciation Orthodox Church in Berwick, PA held their Ethnic Food Festival. There were a variety of homemade foods like halupki, halushki, pierogies, chicken BBQ, hot dogs, kielbasa, fresh cut French fries, and a large amount of donated baked goods which included cakes, galettes, cupcakes, nut rolls, pizzelles, baklava, and cheese bonick. Even though it rained, the turnout was excellent! Throughout the day, hundreds of people attended and enjoyed the food. At 2:00, Fr. Michael Demko gave a church tour, and the choir sang a few hymns.
