St. John the Baptist welcomes Archbishop MARK and the Wilkes-Barre Deanery - 04/13/16

On Wednesday, April 13, 2016, the faithful of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church in Edwardsville, PA welcomed His Eminence, Archbishop MARK, local clergy, members of the Wilkes-Barre Deanery, and other friends to a Presanctified Liturgy. Celebrating liturgy were His Eminence, Archbishop MARK, Fr. George Volkovinsky, rector of St. John’s, Fr, Timothy Cremeens, rector of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Cathedral, Fr, David Shewczyk, rector of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, Fr. Michael Evans, and Fr. Vladimir Petorak. Choir members from around the deanery joined the St. John’s choir and sang beautifully. The communion line extended out of the entrance of the church. Following Liturgy, all were invited to Repella Hall for a delicious lenten meal and Orthodox Fellowship.
