Christ the Saviour holds Annual Parish Family Picnic - 09/11/16
On Sunday, Sept 11th our community had its annual Parish Family Picnic following Divine Liturgy. We are thankful for the members of St. Alexis Toth Men's Club for preparing this annual event!
Later the same afternoon we welcomed the renowned Konevets Quartet from St. Petersburg, Russia. They sang a selection of sacred hymns in the church (Memory Eternal was intoned for our countrymen, and all who died in the 9/11 attacks, and all victims of war and terror), and folk hymns at the parish hall. Their singing was sublime and we look forward to welcoming them back!
