2011 Annual Memorial Day Pilgrimage - 05/30/11
Pilgrims from the diocese and other jurisdictions throughout the nation came to St. Tikhon's Monastery for their annual Memorial Day pilgrimage and St. Tikhon's Seminary graduation. The monastery was blessed to have the weeping icon of St. Anne visit from the Russian Orthodox Church of Our Lady the Joy of All Who Sorrow in Philadelphia. His Beatitude, Metropolitan Jonah, concelebrated the Divine Liturgy on Monday with His Grace, Bishop Tikhon, and several other bishops and clergy. Pilgrims were edified by the words of Archimandrite Zacharias of the Monastery of St. John the Baptist in Essex England who provided the commencement address and also gave several lectures through-out the weekend.
