BATH, PA [DOEPA COMMUNICATIONS]
On behalf of His Eminence Archbishop Mark, the Clergy, Matushki and Faithful of the Diocese of Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania, the Diocesan Media Office extends its warmest congratulations to Priest Silouan Burns, Rector of St. Michael the Archangel Church in Wilmington, DE, on the occasion of his 7th anniversary of ordination to the Holy Priesthood.
Father Silouan was ordained to the Holy Priesthood on Sunday, May 19, 2019, at Holy Apostles Church in Mechanicsburg, PA, through the laying on of hands of His Eminence Archbishop Mark. A graduate of St. Tikhon’s Theological Seminary in 2020, he was assigned in May of that same year as Interim Rector of St. John the Baptist Church in Edwardsville, PA. He was subsequently assigned in August 2021 to St. Michael the Archangel Church in Wilmington, DE, where he continues to guide the parish community.
Through both his words and actions, Father Silouan continues to bear witness to the Gospel as a priest of the Church, shepherding the flock placed in his care.
We, as a Diocese, pray that God will grant Priest Silouan, Matushka Emilia, and their family many years. Axios!
