MECHANICSBURG, PA [DOEPA]
On Sunday, May 17, 2026, the Sixth Sunday of Holy Pascha, the Sunday of the Blind Man, Holy Apostles Church in Mechanicsburg, PA, honored Joseph and Linda Kurtz on the occasion of their 35th wedding anniversary and recognized the parish’s 2026 high school, college, and graduate school graduates.
Following the Divine Liturgy, Archpriest Timothy Hojnicki, Vice-Chancellor of the Diocese of Eastern Pennsylvania, Dean of the Frackville Deanery, and Rector of Holy Apostles Church, offered prayers for Joseph and Linda Kurtz. Beloved parents of Subdeacon Jacob Kurtz, Diocesan Seminarian at St. Tikhon’s Theological Seminary, Joseph and Linda were recognized for their many years of faithful marriage, steadfast commitment to the Church, and dedicated service to the life of the parish community. Father Timothy also offered words of congratulations and gratitude, noting the example of Christian love, sacrifice, and devotion reflected throughout their years together.
The parish family also recognized and honored its high school, college, and graduate school graduates of the Class of 2026, celebrating their accomplishments and praying that the Lord would continue to guide and strengthen them in the next chapter of their lives.
