WILKES-BARRE, PA [DOEPA]

On Monday, August 31, 2026, Holy Trinity Church in Wilkes-Barre, PA, participated in the “Where 2 Worship” event at King’s College. The event brought together local faith communities to help students learn about nearby places of worship and find a spiritual community to call home during their college years.

Archpriest Innocent Neal, Rector of Holy Trinity Church and Dean of the Wilkes-Barre Deanery, led parishioners in representing the parish and welcoming students. Their participation provided students with an opportunity to learn about the Orthodox Christian faith and the worship and parish life of Holy Trinity Church.

The event offered an important opportunity to extend Christian hospitality to students who may be living away from home and searching for a place in which to worship, grow in faith, and form meaningful relationships. Through its presence, Holy Trinity Church invited students to experience the beauty of Orthodox Christian worship and become part of its parish family.

The parish’s involvement reflected its continuing commitment to sharing the Orthodox Christian faith and serving the wider Wilkes-Barre community.
