Anna Wyslutsky, 82, of Lancaster, formerly of Forestville, passed away Sunday at the home of her daughter, Sandra Wyslutsky.

Born in Mount Laffee, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Cuttic Wartella.

She was a 1942 graduate of Minersville High School.

Until retiring, she was the Cass Township tax collector after her husband retired from that office.

She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, Minersville, St. Ann Sodality, and she was secretary for Ss. Peter and Paul Russian Brotherhood Organization.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas, in 1994; and two grandchildren, Michael Rogers and Anna Rose Wyslutsky.

Surviving are a son, the Rev. Nicholas Wyslutsky, pastor of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, and his wife, Elizabeth, Mogadore, Ohio; two daughters, Barbara and her husband, Michael Rogers, Primrose, and Sandra Wyslutsky, with whom she resided for the past three years; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her dear friend, Sandra Wasilus, at home; a brother, Andrew Wartella, Vista, Calif.; two sisters, Olga Peshock, Mar Lin, and Mary Yost, Fishing Creek; an aunt, Sophie Emro, New Jersey; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday from Dutcavich Funeral Home, Minersville. Further services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Ss. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church with the Very Rev. Michael Hatrak officiating. Parastas will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Friends may call from 6 p.m. Wednesday and from 6 a.m. Thursday until time of services at the funeral home. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Branch Township. The family asks that Anna be remembered with contributions to the Church Memorial Fund.
