Today, the Holy Synod met for several hours in the morning. In the
afternoon, preparations were made for the Vespers service at the
Cathedral of the Ascension. All the Hierarchs presided, vested in
mantiya. Vespers were served by the V. Rev. Dennis Pihach, from
Edmonton, Alberta together with a local deacon, with responses in
Spanish and English sung by the mission choir from St Tikhon's
Seminary. Following Vespers, a small reception was held in the
Cathedral.
