Assumption of the Holy Virgin celebrates the Resurrection of Our Lord - 04/28/2019
On Sunday morning, April 28, at Assumption of the Holy Virgin Orthodox Church in Philadelphia, PA, Fr. Mark Koczak celebrated the Resurrectional Procession, Paschal Matins, and Paschal Divine Liturgy. Following the Liturgy, the parishioners gathered in the church basement for the Blessing of the Baskets and a light Paschal luncheon.
Afterwards, the Paschal Vespers was immediately served with a few parishioners reading the Gospel according to St John in several different languages.
