Holy Trinity Orthodox Church Congratulates 2020 High School Graduates - 06/28/2020

On Sunday June 28, 2020, Fr Innocent of Holy Trinity Orthodox parish of Wilkes-Barre, congratulated Eva Claire King and Vladimir Holoviak, for their academic accomplishments throughout High School and valued contributions to Holy Trinity parish as active participants in Divine Services, Church School, and numerous other projects & programs.  Fr. Innocent Neal with help from Subdeacon Thomas Donlick, gave each an Icon of the Holy Trinity & other gifts from the parish.

EVA CLAIRE KING:
She is a graduate of James M Coughlin High School.  While attending Coughlin, Eva was a member of the Key Club and the National Honor Society.  She has attended the Upward Bound program at Wilkes University for the past 3 years.  Eva has been a Girl Scout for 10 years, earning the highest  honor in Girl Scouting, (The Gold Award).  She also has been working at Penn Lee Footwear for 2 1/2 years.  In the fall, Evan plans on starting her college education at LCCC.

VLADIMIR HOLOVIAK:
He is a graduate of Marian Catholic High School Class of 2020.  He will attend Kutztown University majoring in Commercial Music.  While at Marian Catholic, Vladimir participated in marching band (President 2020), concert band, chorus, Rock Music Ministry (violin & drums) and served as Library Aide. He participated in County Band & Diocesan Band.  He has been an Altar Server since age 8 at Holy Trinity.  He is a member of the Kazka Ukrainian Folk Ensemble (Dancer & Violinist) and the Hazleton Liberty Band (trumpet).  Vladimir has also been in Martial Arts since he was 7 years old, and is currently working on his Black Belt in Karate, along with Judo and Jiu-Jitsu.
