The Diocesan Council met at the Chancery in Bath PA in September and November, with a few considerable announcements resulting.
During the September meeting, among the items that were addressed was the upcoming All American Council. The Diocesan Council unanimously voted to absorb the cost of the 2022 All American Council (historically billed proportionately to all parishes in the Diocese), $27,022.
The Council met again in November, where the upcoming Diocesan Assembly was discussed. The agenda was approved, and the Council agreed to waive the registration fee for this year.
Finally, the Council discussed extensively the tireless efforts of clergy to re-open parishes and keep them open. Members proposed a bonus as an expression of gratitude.
