On Sunday, January 29, the Sunday of Zacchaeus, we were blessed by a visit from His Eminence, our Archbishop Mark, who celebrated a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy -- during which he tonsured Nicholas Hojnicki a Reader -- with Fr Timothy, Fr Nicholas, Fr Joseph, Dn Peter, Subdn Sebastian, and Rdr Alex, as well as visiting clergy who included Fr Daniel Kovalak (CTS, Harrisburg); Protodn Peter Skoog (Holy Trinity, Pottstown); Subdn Andrej Kulik (Sts Peter & Paul, SLC Utah); Rdr Gabriel Cowan, (Holy Trinity, Elmira Heights NY), and Victor Lutes (St Mark's, Bethesda MD). He also blessed new blue altar server robes (to be used for Feasts of the Mother of God), and presented to five of our parish youth the first rank and elective pins and sashes earned in HAOC's new "Heavenly Host" program -- Susannah Crews, Kyra Hojnicki, Jameson Jacka, Luke Potteiger, and Madi Potteiger. Special recognition was given to Fr Timothy on the 18th Anniversary of his ordination into the Holy Priesthood, and to Mat Anastasia for her dedicated service as well.
