St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, Olyphant gathered on Sunday, Feb.26 for Divine Liturgy and Forgiveness Vespers.  The congregation was led in prayer by V. Rev. Peter Henry and Rev. John Nightingale who spoke of the Lord's teaching about fasting, forgiveness and entering the season of fast forgiving one another so that God will forgive them. Following Vespers, the members of St. Nicholas were joined by the faithful of All Saints Orthodox Church for a traditional Maslenitza meal, marking the beginning of the Great Fast.
