Altar Feast of Saint Michael's Church in Mount Carmel, PA

MOUNT CARMEL, PA [DOEPA]

On Friday, November 8, 2024, the Feast of the Synaxis of the Archangel Michael and the Other Bodiless Powers, the Altar Feast of Saint Michael’s Orthodox Church in Mount Carmel, PA, was celebrated by the clergy and faithful of the Frackville Deanery.

Serving the Divine Liturgy were Archpriest Timothy Hojnicki, Vice-Chancellor of the Diocese of Eastern Pennsylvania and Dean of the Frackville Deanery, Priest Aleksey Paranyuk, Rector, Archpriest Stephen Vernak, and Priest Kirill Zawatski. The choir was led under the direction of Archpriest John Onofrey.

Following the dismissal, prayers were offered for the veterans of the parish.

Following the dismissal, prayers were said for the veterans of the parish. After the veneration of the Cross, a meal was held in the church hall downstairs.

May God grant Priest Aleksey, Matushka Natallia, their family, all veterans and the faithful of Saint Michael's Church many years!
