On Thursday, June 2, the clergy of the Diocese were blessed to have an expert from Church Mutual's Wisconsin Office flown in to discuss "Officers and Directors Insurance Coverage" for a Clergy Continuing Education Seminar at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Pottstown, PA. There was much discussion and the point was made quite clear that protection of the Officers is in direct correlation to following the parish Bylaws and the Statute of the OCA. Term Limits of Officers is one means of addressing risk management and is highly recommended by insurance companies.  Church Mutual is willing to fly their expert in again for workshops with our parish council leadership later this year.
