St. John the Baptist Shares Christmas Meal With Local Veterans - 12/17/16
On Saturday, December 17, 2016, the Sunday School of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church in Edwardsville, PA prepared, delivered and shared a Christmas Meal with the local Veterans Center. This event kicked off a very busy weekend of mission for the parish, with parishioners and clergy joining the Sunday School Students for this annual event. The veterans were treated to a dinner and gift bags, as well as fellowship during the Holy Season. This marks the third year the Sunday School has held this event, and it has become a popular event among the veterans and parish alike.
