Holy Assumption Celebrates Veneration of the Cross - 03/18/17
On Saturday March 18th and Sunday, March 19th the faithful of Assumption of the Holy Virgin Orthodox Church celebrated the Vespers and Divine Liturgy of the Veneration of the Cross on the Third Sunday of Great Lent. With the reminder of the Holy Cross midway through Great Lent, let us all have the strength, courage, and compassion as we head towards the remainder of Great Lent, Holy Week, Christ's suffering on the Cross, and his glorious Resurrection on Pascha.
