Holy Trinity Celebrates Patronal Feast - 05/26/18

Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Wilkes-Barre celebrated the feast of Pentecost, its patronal feast, with beautiful liturgical services and with parish fellowship following Divine Liturgy on Sunday.

The parish was blessed to have the Very Reverend Joseph Martin as its celebrating priest and the weekend got underway with the serving of the Great Vespers and Litiya on Saturday evening. Sunday morning began with Divine Liturgy immediately followed by the Kneeling Vespers. After services concluded, a luncheon was held in the church parlors which included a presentation of appreciation to our visiting retired pastor, the Very Reverend John Mason, a discussion on the Feast of Pentecost and recognition of our Sunday School children as the school year has come to a close. A wonderful weekend was truly enjoyed by all!
