St. John the Baptist Sunday School Prepares Christmas Feast for Veteran Neighbors - 12/15/18
On Saturday, December 15, 2018, the Sunday School and parishioners prepared a Christmas Dinner for their neighbors who live nearby at the Veteran Center. The Sunday School prepared a ham dinner with all of the fixings, and shared a few hours of fellowship. The veterans were also given gift bags, many home made Christmas cookies, and more. This community outreach program is in its 5th year, and the Sunday School and members of the parish look forward to it and their Thanksgiving Dinner as well. tasing the time to visit and catch up with our neighbors. Members of the veteran center assist in our annual Community Christmas Concert (which takes place on Sunday, December 23) as well as visit our parish during the year.
