Greater Philadelphia Orthodox Community Gathers for Blessing of Schuykill - 01/27/19
The Greater Philadelphia Orthodox Clergy Brotherhood along with the gracious assistance from the Anglican Fellowship of the Delaware Valley celebrated the Holy Feast of Epiphany with The Service of Great Blessing of Waters of the Schuykill River on Sunday afternoon, January 27, 2019 from one of the boat houses along Kelly Drive behind the Art Museum of Philadelphia. Even under overcast skies and a cold wind coming off the river, 11 clergy and around 60 faithful Orthodox Christians representing close to a dozen Orthodox parishes from the Philadelphia area participated in this wonderful service.
