Very Rev Fr Vladimir Petorak elevated to Mitered Archpriest - 09/01/19
On September 1, the Very Reverend Father Vladimir Petorak was elevated by Archbishop Mark to Mitered Archpriest at Holy Resurrection Cathedral in Wilkes Barre, PA. He and Matushka Elizabeth celebrate 65 years of Ministry in the Orthodox Church. Fr Vladimir served Holy Resurrection Cathedral for 27 years. Area clergy and faithful came to congratulate Fr. Vladimir and Matushka Elizabeth on 65 years of service as well as thank them for caring for them over the years. Also in attendance were two new Catechumens David Varosky and Thomas Lyall along with the faithful of Holy Resurrection Cathedral. Fr Gregory, Matushka Kathy White and the Faithful worked hard to prepare for the Hierarchical Liturgy and the picnic in honor of the Petorak’s.
