St. Michael's Welcomes Distinguished Guests for Celebration - 11/08/19
On November 8, St. Michael’s Orthodox Church in Mt. Carmel, celebrated St. Michael’s Day and Veterans Day. His Eminence, Archbishop Mark and Father Ignatius Hunter were joined by area clergy to celebrate the Liturgy. In addition, the Miracle Icon of St. Anna was displayed in the church.
Father Ignatius was awarded the Diocesan Purple Skufia for his service. Archbishop Mark, Fr. Timothy Hojnicki, Fr. Stephen Vernak, Fr. Daniel Ressetar, Fr. Daniel Kovalak, Fr. John Onofrey, Fr. Daniel Armstrong, and Subdeacon Jacob Ponomarenko participated in the service.
Following Divine Liturgy, lunch was provided and opened to the community in honor of Veterans Day. The parish also recognized Veterans as part of the celebration.
