St. John the Baptist Recognizes Fathers, enjoys first fellowship gathering since Pandemic - 06/21/20

On Sunday, June 21, the community of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church in Edwardsville PA celebrated the Feast of All Saints of North America as well as Father's Day. The feast is particularly special for the parish as Saint Alexis Toth of Wilkes-Barre and St. Alexander Hotivitsky were both instrumental in the founding of the parish. Father Silouan remembered all fathers, living and reposed, as well as all Godfathers, spiritual fathers and father figures.

Following Divine Liturgy, the parish gathered in the "Archimandrite Anthony Repella" Hall where they enjoyed coffee and treats sponsored by the parish Sunday School.
