Holy Apostles Welcomes Archbishop MARK for Day of Recognition and Celebration - 10/17/21

Glory to Jesus Christ! Sunday, October 17 was a wonderful day full of recognition and celebration at Holy Apostles! It began with a Hierarchical Liturgy celebrated by His Eminence, Archbishop Mark. He was joined by Very Reverend Father TImothy Hojnicki; Father John Parker, Dean of Saint Tikhon’s Theological Seminary; Mitered Archpriest Nicholas Molodyko-Harris; Mitered Archpriest Daniel Kovolak; Protodeacon Peter Skoog; and Deacon Christopher Anderson. During the service, Father Timothy Hojnicki was bestowed the honor of wearing the jeweled cross by the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Orthodox Church in America, in recognition of his priestly service to the Church. In addition, Father Nicholas and his Matushka Anastasia were presented with a “gramota” (or citation) also issued by the Holy Synod, which recognized their 60 years of faithfulness and good works. In addition, our own Alexander Koropsak was tonsured a Reader in the Church. The day was topped-off with our 15th Annual Dinner Dance and Silent Auction where fellowship, fun, and good food ensued! Congratulations to them and their families!
May God grant them all good health and many years! AXIOS! AXIOS! AXIOS!
