St. Nicholas Community Prepares for Great Lent - 03/06/22
On Sunday, March 6, St Nicholas Orthodox Church in Olyphant, lead in prayer by Rev. James Chuta and Rev. John Nightingale, celebrated Divine Liturgy and Forgiveness Vespers to mark the beginning of the Lenten season. Following Vespers, a Maslanitza was held in the Church hall, allowing the faithful to join together in prayer and fellowship so that they might be better prepared to start the period of the Great Fast.
