Busy Weekend at Holy Ascension - 03/25/24
The first weekend of the Great Lent was very busy for the parish of Holy Ascension in Frackville, PA . On St. Theodore’s Saturday, following Great Vespers, the Moleben to St. Theodore the Recruit was celebrated and Kolyva was blessed. On March 24, the Sunday of Orthodoxy, at the end of Liturgy, the Proclamation of the Synodikon of Orthodoxy was proclaimed. The same day, in the evening, Holy Ascension had Vigil for the Feast of Annunciation, and Vesperal Liturgy was celebrated the following morning. Glory to God for all things!
