Women's Pilgrimage to Holy Transfiguration, Ellwood City - 06/16/10
From Friday, June 18 - Sunday, June 20, seven women and three children from Christ the Saviour Orthodox Church (Harrisburg, PA) made a pilgrimage to Holy Transfiguration Monastery in Ellwood City, PA. In addition to the many services they attended, and the peaceful setting they enjoyed, the women were afforded the opportunity to talk to and share meals with the sisters, and refresh themselves in the spiritual warmth and hospitality of the monastery. We pray that God will bless our entire community as these pilgrims bring to us the fruit of their experience and offer encouragement to us make our own spiritual pilgrimages, as we too seek to be refreshed and renewed in our devotion to Christ.
