On September 23, 2010 Holy Annunciation Orthodox Church in Berwick introduced its Fall lecture series titled: “Discover Original Christianity”. Father Wilbur Ellsworth delivered the first lecture to a group of thirty-six people, eight of whom were inquiring about the Orthodox Faith.  Fr. Ellsworth is the pastor of Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Church  in Warrenville, Illinois.

Fr. Ellsworth spoke candidly about his journey from the Baptist Church and finding his home in the Orthodox Church. An active question and answer period, gave participants an opportunity to ask questions about the Faith.

Every Thursday from now until November 18^th, Holy Annunciation will be hosting a variety of speakers and topics relating to Orthodoxy. These lectures offer additional information fro anyone seeking learn more about original Christianity and the Orthodox Christian Faith. Lectures begin at 7:00 PM. Light refreshments and fellowship will follow in the Church hall.
