An archpastoral visit to Christ the Saviour Orthodox Church in Harrisburg, PA - 09/30/12
On Sunday morning, September 30th, Fr. Stephen Vernak together with the faithful of Christ the Saviour Orthodox Church in Harrisburg, PA welcomed His Eminence, Archbishop Tikhon who came to visit the parish. The Hierarchical Divine Liturgy was also concelebrated by Fr. David Vernak (Fr. Stephen's father), Fr. Daniel Ressetar and Fr. Michael Kovach and Fr. Deacon Matthew Markewich. At the Little Entrance, Father Stephen was awarded the right to wear the skufia by Archbishop Tikhon, who expressed his appreciation of Fr. Stephen's faithful service to the parish, the local community and the diocese. Following the Divine Liturgy, a coffee hour was prepared by the parishioners as His Eminence met with the faithful.
