Jermyn Church School Children aid Ukrainian Day Care - 10/07/12
The church school children of St. Michael's Orthodox church in Jermyn recently sorted and packed boxes of children's clothing and shoes. The items will be sent to a day care center near Dubrinich, Ukraine to aid needy children. The church school children also collected money from the congregation following Divine Liturgy on Sunday, October 7, 2012. Protodeacon Gabriel Petorak organized the event following his visit to Dubrinich, Western Ukraine, this past summer, noting the needs of children.
