Archbishop Tikhon visits an Orthodox community at Bucknell University, Lewisburg, PA - 11/11/12

On the weekend of November 10-11th, His Eminence, Archbishop Tikhon, made an archpastoral visit to the local Orthodox faithful at Bucknell University, Lewisburg, PA.

On Saturday evening a Great Vespers service was celebrated by Fr. James Chuta, the Orthodox chaplain at Bucknell University, with the presence of Archbishop Tikhon. Following the Vespers Service all the faithful participated at the lecture by Dr. Maria Khoury on "The Christian Presence in the Holy Land Today".

On Sunday morning, His Eminence, Archbishop Tikhon, served the Divine Liturgy with responses beautifully sung by the students as well as visiting faithful. At the Little Entrance, Father James was presented with the award of the Nabedrennik in appreciation of his faithful service to the local Orthodox community and the diocese.

Following the Divine Liturgy, a coffee hour was prepared by the Bucknell OCF members as His Eminence met with the faithful.
