On June 25, 2023, St. Michael’s Orthodox Church in Mt. Carmel, paid tribute to Father Barnabas by having a light lunch in his honor following Divine Liturgy.  His service to the parish has been greatly appreciate and his birthday fell on Holy Week and St. Barnabas Day fell on June 11 which conflicted with another event so we held a lunch on June 25 to thank him for his spiritual guidance.
