On Saturday January 27, 2023, Dn Kirill Zawatski was ordained to the Holy Priesthood at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Wilkes Barre. There were fifteen clergy and two deacons, assisted by Sbdn Tom Donlick, Sbdn Gregory Polk, Rdr Nicholas Hojnicki and Elijah Hojnicki.  The church was completely packed for this Sacred occasion. After the Liturgy a reception e grew up in McAdoo and is well held at St Michael’s parish hall in Old Firge with little room to move about. Fr Kirill while relatively new to our Diocese grew up in McAdoo and is well known amongst our clergy, faithful and Ukrainian Byzantine Catholics. The reception included a Polka band that Fr Kirill participated in as an accordionist. Glory to God for this Glorious and Sacred event. Many Years to Fr Kirill and Pani Olivia and his Godmother Paula Holoviak and her family.
