On June 3rd, Seminarian, Subdeacon Silouan Burns was Ordained to the Holy Diaconate at St. Mark in Wrightstown, PA. Officiating at the service was His Eminence Archbishop Mark, the V. Rev. Raymond Martin Browne, Protodeacon Gregory Moser, and seminarians Dn. Vjekoslav Javicic and Sbdn Daniel Valentine. The Altar servers of St. Mark's were well prepared, as was the choir facilitating a beautiful, reverent and prayerful service. Following the Hierarchical Liturgy, the faithful of St. Mark's provided a pancake breakfast with service by the children of the parish. We congratulate our new Deacon Silouan and Matushka Emilia and their family. We were also blessed that Sbdn. Daniel Valentine drove our other new deacon, Dn. Vjekoslav (Ordained on Pentecost at Holy Trinity in Stroudsburg) and Matushka Dragana to the service. Please keep Matushka Dragana in your God-pleasing prayers as she is due to deliver their first child within the next week. Dn. Vjekoslav will be Ordained to the Holy Priesthood on Sunday June 10th at Holy Trinity in Wilkes Barre and Sbdn. Daniel Valentine will be Ordained to the Holy Diaconate.
